Ice bars are becoming really popular in big cities and even on cruise ships. If you find the idea interesting, how about taking it a step further and staying at the Icehotel? Icehotel unique hotel is in Sweden and it has a super cold Icebar and guest rooms where everything is made of ice, like sculptures and furniture. But don’t worry, they also have warm rooms with regular things you need.
If you choose a cold room, you’ll sleep in special warm sleeping bags on beds made of ice and covered with reindeer hides. The big blocks of ice are taken from a nearby river called Torne River, which freezes completely in the winter. The hotel and the village around it are great spots to see the northern lights.
